Well Hello My Beautiful People!!

So I know it’s been a couple weeks since I did my last blog but I have had an interesting couple of weeks to say the least!! It was filled with job offers in other states and still job looking in California (I am determined to move to Los Angeles)! I am ready for better weather and better health, Arizona is currently hitting 122 degrees and its killing me! Physically and mentally!

But enough of that boringness! On to the fun stuff! So in my last blog I wrote about buying Miracle Skin Transformer SPF 20 as well as a Clinique Almost Powder Foundation. Well I will start off with saying I returned the Clinique Powder, 1. It was too light for my skin and 2. It was a little to cakey. So I exchanged it for the Miracle Skin Transformer Treat and Conceal in Tan. It was the ONLY color Sephora had in stock so I figured I would give it a try. I also picked up a sample of the Vanish serum by MST as well.

Let me start off by saying I saw a video on YouTube from Sarah McNamara herself about mixing the Skin Enhancer, Concealer AND the Vanish serum all together before applying it. That made me curious as to what the outcome would look like on my skin, especially since I got a concealer that was darker than my actual skin tone.

I decided to experiment and see if the concealer was going to be too dark, so I mixed a pea size amount of MST skin enhancer, an extremely small amount of concealer, and a dab of the Vanish serum. I rubbed it all together and then the magic happened. I put four dabs on my face and rubbed out. Everything just melted into my skin like butter! It felt so smooth and non heavy, it honestly felt like I had nothing on my skin.

Now here comes the fun part..

I waited 10 minutes, so during this time I did my hair and all the other girly stuff it takes to get ready. When the time was up I looked in the mirror and it was as if I had goddess skin. My face was so smooth and all my redness was gone, as well as any minor blemishes I had such as my silly dark circles.

THEY ALL VANISHED!

I was left with smooth, blemish free, baby butt skin that I was so desperately hoping for! I set it with a little hydrating powder from Elizabeth Arden and went on with the rest of my beauty routine.

Now that was just the first day, I have been doing the same process everyday for the last few weeks and I will honestly say my skin has been getting better every time I use this miracle stuff!!

So now I’m hooked, obsessed and addicted to these products as well as this company. And just a reminder I am in no way getting paid from MST for saying these things. This is an honest to god account of what I have experienced. I believe whole heartedly into what Sarah McNamara is trying to achieve, so much that I would totally work for this company if I could! It really is that good!

The hype is really true! So true that they have been out of a lot of products in Sephora and on their website! Yikes! They finally just got more products online so I just bought the MST Lip Rewind Advanced Peptide Lip Treatment Broad Spectrum SPF20 in Love and the MST Tinted Sculpting Balm in Coral Bronze.

I am so excited to try these products as well. I officially have a new company I can trust to deliver the results I want at reasonable prices!

Well that is all for me for now! I will write about the Lip Treatment and Sculpting Balm when I get them in!

Ta ta for now, and remember to stay true to yourself and stay beautiful!!

Sephora Stop In

Hi Beautiful People!!

So today I went to Sephora, I had to exchange some Kat Von D foundation and concealer for something much lighter. Arizona has officially hit 115 degrees so your face melts before you even put anything on!

I have been doing research on a product called Miracle Skin Transformer Face SPF 20. Let me say I am a sucker for infomercials and happened to see one for this product at 3 a.m. one morning. I was so hooked and mesmerized by the accusations of what it claimed it could do! It says its a 5 in 1 formula designed to hydrate, prime, enhance, mattify, and protect your skin in a single step. Um I don’t know what you think, but that is kind of a big deal! I’m very big on reading personal reviews and all the ones I have read all had such positive remarks so I figured what the hell.

The cost of it was $48.00 for 1.7oz size of Medium in a squeeze bottle. A little steep but like I always say “Quality over Quantity”. Now as long as it holds up its end of the deal. I also bought a new powder to go over for a little extra coverage, I ended up getting Clinique Almost Powder in Light, just a little something to go over.

I have been doing a super vigorous skincare regimen to get my skin back to baby smooth and to help with the few icky pimples I get. I completely switched my cleanser from Bliss Facial Cleanser to Burts Bees Citrus Scrub and that alone has made a huge difference but to intensify the results I switched my serum from Dior Capture Totale One Essential to Exuviance Vespera Bionic Serum and HOLY COW the change in my skin was literally overnight! I use the Philosophy Retinol night treatment on my skin with my serum and my skin looks and feels amazing in the morning!

Now I have a few friends that work at Sephora that I used to work at ULTA with and fortunately they were there today so it was a nice reunion and I got samples of the Miracle Skin Transformer Concealer in Light and the night treatment since Retinol can be sort of harsh on the skin.

* Key Reminder – If you are using Retinol, please make sure you are completely saturated in SPF before you leave your bathroom everyday. If you use Retinol and no sun protection you are basically wasting your money on expensive face cream. Your skin becomes sensitive to the sun when you use Retinol and it is very important to protect your investment!!*

Now the only next step to do is to try it! I will try it tomorrow and let you know how it works!

Remember,
There is always hope! Love yourself!

First Little Black Bag Order!

Well I decided it was time to join the hype of Little Black Bag. I put my first order in last week and I received it in my PO today. It was actually very quick shipping, considering the fact that it was coming one state over.

For those of you who don’t know what Little Black Bag is, it is a subscription shopping service. I would say it almost reminds me of Shoe Dazzle before they did away with membership fees and almost everything good about their company. Shoe Dazzle is a whole other topic, that I will get into later, all I will say is the quality of the shoes they sell is extremely cheap. Now, back to LBB…

I was a little apprehensive about doing the whole subscription shopping thing but I figured hell I will give it a shot. They ask for you to take a style quiz to pick out certain selections from their inventory of products. You pick 1 item for your bag and then personal stylists pick 2-3 more items to put in your bag, the catch is you don’t get to know what they are until you pay for them! (Scary!) But here comes the fun part, after you purchase your items you have the ability to trade with other shoppers for things you might want instead. It really is fun and as they say “Happiness Guaranteed”.

To get a wider selection of items, I chose everything on their style chart. (Maybe this was a bad idea) because I spent HOURS on the website looking through everything! After all my hard intense searching, I settled with a Melie Bianco Coral Phone Wristlet, I wanted something small to carry around since I don’t use wallets. It was bundled at $14.95 with 3 other items. When I purchased, I got to see what the items were which ended up being a deluxe sample size of face cream and facial cleanser from FAB (First Aid Beauty) and a really gaudy coral necklace, that I knew I would never wear. . I traded the necklace for a purple crystal winged cuff from Lydell NYC. I absolutely love it, and I traded the face cream for 2 bottles of Clairol Jazzing Red Hot hair tint (I will post pictures later about how my hair turns out). In all I spent $14.95 plus $5.95 for shipping so total of $20.90 for 5 items!

In all it was a great deal, and I will most likely do this again. What’s nice is if you sign up for the membership which is $9.95 a month you get a $10.00 credit to use towards your purchase. LBB also has promos going on all the time and have giveaways to enter almost everyday. They also put on new products every week. If you can afford to do it, I would say definitely try it. You can get a $190 purse for $80.00! You can save up to 70% with LBB. My next purchase will be a Steve Madden purse, because I LOVE Steve Madden!

Well that’s all for now,

Remember,
There is Always Hope!

The Dreaded Breakouts

20130628-184715.jpg

I know we have all had them, some more often than others. I know I have had my fair share, but did you know there may be under lying issues that are causing your breakouts?

My good friends at Miracle Skin Transformer made this photo to show you other reasons you might be breaking out in that certain place. Im not even joking you, these are true. I was having really bad break outs on my forehead and I couldn’t understand why and then 5 days ago I was diagnosed with a bladder infection. Who knew?!

So remember yes they can be awful and icky but your break outs could be telling you something else is wrong.

Listen to your skin!
